KILOMEGA's steel cord conveyor belts are engineered with a four-layer precision structure, where each component is critical to the durability and functionality of the belt, tailored for demanding conveyor applications:
Galvanized Steel Cords:The steel cord structure in KILOMEGA conveyor belts is meticulously designed to suit various challenging applications. Comprising multiple high-strength metal strands, these cords offer exceptional flexibility and low elongation, extending belt lifespan and supporting efficient, high-strength splice designs. The galvanized coating on the steel cords forms a reliable adhesive layer with the insulation rubber while providing a strong anti-corrosion barrier, ensuring optimal belt performance in harsh environments.
Insulation Rubber (Core Rubber):Utilizing advanced rubber formulation technology, KILOMEGA has developed high-quality insulation rubber that deeply penetrates and adheres to the steel cords, forming a secure bond. This layer offers excellent corrosion resistance and splice efficiency, enhancing the overall performance and durability of the conveyor belt.
Top Breaker Layer:The top breaker layer in KILOMEGA conveyor belts provides additional puncture resistance, effectively protecting the belt from damage caused by heavy impact loads. This prevents premature carcass damage from localized pressure, significantly extending the belt's operational life.
Bottom Breaker Layer:The bottom breaker layer further strengthens puncture protection, preventing trapped materials or transported items from causing early carcass damage. This added protection ensures reliable and stable operation.
Outer Rubber Covers:KILOMEGA conveyor belts feature advanced composite materials in the top and bottom rubber covers, designed to protect the internal steel cord structure from harsh conveyor environments. These covers are highly resistant to abrasion, impact, cold temperatures, flame spread, and ozone-induced hardening. The composite material can withstand jagged cuts, gouging, and extreme conditions, ensuring consistent high performance across varied operating conditions.
